It all starts with a vision. Whether you want a radical change or a simple refresh, you deserve to feel thrilled. At S A K A I , our mission is to collaborate with you and create your personalized style.
S A K A I is a new hair salon in Friedrichshain, founded in the spring of 2023 by hairstylist Atsuko, drawing from her professional experience in Tokyo, NY, and Berlin. She created a minimalistic and modern space with prominent concrete features, yet still exuding warmth and coziness.
The name “Sakai” is derived from a city in Osaka, Japan, known for its human-centered approach. In today’s world where everything is digital and detached, Atsuko hopes that S A K A I can offer people a different kind of salon experience, a place where they can connect with each other.
